Getting to the Hicks Building
- By train
At the railway station, go to the back of the station.
As you come out of the station, you will see the tram stop.
At the tram stop, take the Blue line tram from the platform
nearer to the railway station. Blue line trams usually go to "Malin Bridge",
and are distinguished by a blue square on the front of the tram. Tickets
should be bought from the conductor (£1) on the tram.
It takes 10-15 minutes
to get to the stop "University of Sheffield". Get off here, and cross the main
road (without crossing any tram lines). Depending which end of the tram you
got out, you will see a short road opposite, either Leavygreave Road or
Hounsfield Road. Go up either of these roads; at the end is the Hicks Building.
